One of the most original talented Cameroonian/African actress, the distinguished, exquisitely charming Princess, Taka Tanni, was born in Cameroon, the daughter of a king( FON) of Ntoh, Pinyin tribe, former director of SODEPA and now an appointed chief judge of kumbo high court.
She has co-starred with alot of very famous actors and actress of the Nollywood Movies industry. She has graced acted in more than ten movies in her career, movies like, AMERICAN MARRIAGE, COMING FROM AFRICA, NIGHTSHIFT, STUBBORN DAUGHTER, AKWASTAR LADIES, INFAMOUS DECEPTION, HEART OF LOVE. Just to name a few. Additionally, she has appeared in countless TV shows, music videos and was a host of a talkshow "

Q1.....Tell me about your family background?
Ans.... I am a princess from Ntoh Pinyin. A large family filled with so much love. I have 6 siblings and more from the palace hahahaha. A proud mother to my cutie pie daughter, who just wrote G.C.E and A/l.
She is brilliant and my biggest blessings from God. I am an actress. I have a Radiographs degree and back in school to further my education.
Two years conservatory hand on intensive program in fine arts NewYork film academy. I love cooking......hahaha l know most people will raise eye brow but it's true, cooking is my hobby.....
Hmmm!!!!! I started acting in church, when I was little. I come from a family background full of journalist and actors.....
Q3...... Do you ever get shy in front of the camera?
Yes! especially when like 10 people are starring at me and me all alone in front of the lens eeeeee!.......
Q4......How did you start?
You mean acting...... Yes........ First I started with theatre and short films, then...... Bang.... a big project came up, a film by Ivan Nname.......AKWASTAR........
Q5?....... How long have been an actress?
I have been a professional actress for a little over a decade now...
Q6?...... How many films you have performed up till now?
Hmmm! I have done quite alot and still on set every given day. ...
Q7? Are you working on any current project?.
Q8?..... What kind of roles have you performed throughout your career? Are you satisfied with them?
I have performed alot of Roles but not nudity. I have been offered lots of money for that but I turn it down. I have acted alot of Roles from crazy to sweet. I love every role and I still want to do more challenging roles.........
My favorite actress is Josephine Ndanou( Cameroonian) Julia Roberts (American) actor is Collin Firth ( American).........
My phone, my car, food, acting, traveling, my bed...lol......
Q11 ..... What is the best and worst thing about being a movie Star?
The best thing is meeting such amazing and talented actors and all free stuffs that come with acting e.g traveling, dressing, food and the worst being judged and scrutinized by some unscrupulous Fans....
Q12.......Do have any dark moment in your life?
Oh yeah!!, in 2013, I had a stage 4 cancer of the liver and lymphoma that almost took my life, I had four scrap surgeries, lost recognition, speech, and the ability to walk, went through chemo and different therapies, hospitalized for over 8 months, flown from state to state, went in comas, it was like a dream, hahaha, I had a conversation with God and some angels...... Mm, I remembered having very precise demands and supplications to God.
I almost gave up sometimes because I was resuscitated once and I could not remember my name, where I was, or what day it was. my sister brought my movies and the doctors moved me to my own private room and mounted a big TV screen and played my movies.
Each time I woke up someone will remind me of my name and I will watch my movies as a means to help bring back my memories.
Aww, it was a journey. it is a very pitiful and painful experience. It is at such stage that you know how precious life is.... ....
Q13? what are the achievements you are most proud of?
I am a proud mother to my daughter who is my greatest achievement. I am the Vice President of a company www.afrifimo. we carry out work shops, Awards festivals for music and films. CED awards of 2012, I won the best actress, Oh! that brought me tears of Joy Knowing that my fans watched my films and loved my work.
The same year, I won best actress again in Cameroon movies awards. Winning awards for fans give me more joy. .......

Very discipline, very prayerful, very loyal, very smart, very friendly, an educationist, and a mom, an adorable woman, ready to burst into a wife, love my daughter and family to pieces.........

My weak points....hmmm..... I love the crafts so much, it's always a learning process. Difference scripts different challenges most importantly, I am humbled to learn always......

Love,....... I love my fans and my haters as well, everyone is entitled to the opinions but I wish the haters come around and encourage me ( us boost us). but I promised them to always do my best in life, haters will always be but still, I will welcome all to give me a chance and support me to do better.......
