Father's day gift for you ladies. How to compliment your guy. As a guy I will give u a secret, best compliments we want to hear from our girls.

It's no longer bothers me that I may be constantly searching for father figures; by this time, I have found several and dearly enjoyed knowing them all.

Well, first of all, let’s make it clear, compliments are not only meant to be for ladies, they can also be given to men. Guys love compliments as much as girls do, but gentlemen hardly ever get any or, at least, they get compliments a lot rarer than ladies do. A compliment given to a guy builds up and boosts his confidence and self esteem, therefore, it’s vital to give your man this type of “nourishment”.

A guy can be turned into a brave hero, caring gentleman and gallant chevalier, he can make you feel like a princess, thanks to skilfully expressed, sincere compliment.

In order to give your special someone a good compliment you need to understand that men and women like different types of “praise”. For example, a compliment that a lady might like can only offend or disturb a man…Let’s explore it a little further…

The main “rule” for giving a compliment to a man is to emphasize and accentuate his “manhood”. Men are very sensitive to hypocrisy and can distinguish insincerity very quickly, therefore, avoid showering your guy with “empty worship” out of the blue. Say only things that you really mean, don’t try to overload your man with untruthful flattery, misleading sweet talk and insincere admiration, because he will definitely feel it…

How does a man react to compliments?

Imagine that you called your special someone “a real gentleman”…he will start to open all doors for you and will try to act, as a gallant and courteous man. Encouraged by you, he will try to prove that you are right! If you express gratitude to your boyfriend/husband for his kindness and generosity, for example, he will only want to give you more of the things for which you are grateful; if you call your other half “skilled” and “talented”, he will want to move mountains for you and will try even harder to do his best.

So, instead of criticizing the person you love, give him your sincere appreciation and compliment him, saying:
“You are so smart!”
“My darling, I’m sure that you can do this!”
“I’m sure you’ll succeed!”

And, finally, the most important tip on how to compliment a guy is this: remember that your compliment should always be sincere and come straight from your heart, you need to really love and appreciate the person, whom you are showering with your praise.

Now, let’s have a look at the list of best compliments you can give to your man:

Lily is a Cameroonian passionate beauty and fashion blogger who lives in the United State of America

The common struggle that many women of color face with the controversy surrounding skin-lightening. Mirror, Mirror on the wall", I don't want to be the fairest of them all; I want my skin to be smooth and tender. Beauty blogger is not only gurus for her own self, but constantly sharing great beauty advice, awesome pictures and different points of view. Sure, there are big and more renounce fashion and beauty bloggers but lily has proven she stands the taste of time. Her fashion, beauty comestic products BrightenMi is known in different parts of the globe.

Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?

Hi, I'm Liliane, but I go by Lily. I'm a personal style blogger/creator of BefabNstaychic (www.befabnstaychic.com)

and co-founder of BrightenMi Cosmetics (www.brightenmi.com).

My blog is a platform which i created to show the world how I incorporate fashion into my personal style, share my love for the luxuries this beautiful world has to offer, as well as my business ventures with those with common interests.

What inspired you to start your blog?

My love for dressing up and creating trends of my own inspired me to blog - mixing and matching patterns until I could figure out how to model a look to my taste. Additionally, I used to have mild social anxiety, and interacting with the world from my keyboard was the first step I took to overcome that phobia. I'm proud to say i've come a long way, thanks to my best friend Lenore always rooting for me.

Can you name some of your favourite Cameroon bloggers and explain why they are your favourites?

Unfortunately, no one that I know stands out as my favorite as I think they are all great in their own right. But assuming we are still in the context of style and fashion blogging, what I would say is, when I think of great style, effortless elegance, sophistication, femininity come to mind. A Cameroonian blogger who embodies those qualities for me is Olivia la fabuleuse. She's chic, simple, not overdone, and of course fabulous; all of which make her charming and elegant.

What sets your style apart from that of other personal style bloggers?

Generally, the rule of thumb is, if people can't quite tell who your sense of style reminds them of, then that in it self ought to tell you that you're one of a kind. That has been the case with me. I'm unique in that i can be a minimalist without being austere, extremely feminine, a little eccentric, and overall, chic and sophisticated. My style is classic with a touch of modernity.

What are some of your favorite boutiques that you must visit in your area or when you go shopping?

I love Zara, HM, Lord&Taylor, BCBG, Neimans and of course Saks, just to name a few. I equally buy some of my clothes from a friend who has access to great thrift stores, and who rings me up whenever she lays hands on anything fresh and exciting.

What is your favorite outfit that you've posted so far?

My favorite so far has been my orange Thierry Mugler ensemble that got the internet buzzing, lol. Like I mentioned on my blog, i love this outifit's designer because he understands the woman's form like none other. That outfitencompasses femininity, structure, fit, and above all, accentuates my slender frame.

What spring trends do you love and which do you hate?

Spring trends I love: Micro pleated skirts and dresses are back in style. I like them because they drape flatteringly on any body type. I also love the pajamas dressing. Now you can wear pajamas in style out of the bedroom. Let's note that not all pajamas are appropriate for outside settings. Just the properly tailored ones made of luxe silk fabric.

Spring trends I hate: The bright and bold stripes, as well as the pinstriped shirt dresses, some with long sleeves at the waist that tie to the front. I just don't get it.

Your skin is amazing, how do you keep it so clean, smooth, and healthy?

Thank you. My skin regimen involves exfoliating, cleansing, and moisturizing withBrightenMi Cosmetics skin care essentials, using lots of sunscreen and drinking a lot of water helps too

What are some of the challenges you face as a Blogger in the Fashion and Beauty Industry?

In both industries, it can be challenging to be innovative and monetize your ideas, especially when surrounded by people who do nothing but plagiarize and replicate your work (even better than you) without giving you the proper credit. To a certain extent, that can interfere with progress.

What's in your makeup bag?

Setting powder for my oily t-zone, lip vaseline, and my red lipstick

How did you come up with your products?

BrightenMi products were developed as a result of (my partner Lenore and I) looking for an effective acne treatment for our skin. Along the line as we researched, we discovered that many people equally struggled with clearing dark spots and blemishes caused by acne, resulting in us introducing some brightening creams to target that problem, as well as hyperpigmantation and melasma. Let it be noted that the BrightenMi brand is a cosmetic line that sells acne creams, brightening and non-brightening milks as well as scrubs and cleansers, all of which were designed to target specific skin conditions, and help the skin look its best.

What challenges have you faced that you didn't expect?

What I found ironic was that, while a lot of misinformed individuals smeared our business venture on blogs on the grounds that our brand endorsed self-hate, the numbers behind the scenes showed otherwise, as sales went through the roof. This was an indication that many people were able to see through the smoke, and realize that the BrightenMi brand is all about empowering women and men to look and feel their best regardless of their skin tone, as shown in the selection of our products.

How has Facebook, Instagram and other social networks helped you to connect with your consumers?

Social media is an integral part of our day to day lives in the 21st century. It has brought individuals from all corners of the globe together, and has been a great marketing platform (as it has helped minimize costs) for BefabNstaychic and BrightenMi.

                  Best part of your body?

I believe my eyes are my most valued physical traits. They pierce right through your soul, lol.

                 Are you hot or sexy?

I can be both, though I have a penchant for sexiness.

        Favorite color and designer?

My favorite color is blue (in all shades), and designer would be Chanel.

                            Marital status?

For now, I am happily unmarried.

How can my fans follow you?

My fans can get a hold of be through my websitewww.befabnstaychic.com
