Having concern for or helping to improve the welfare and happiness of people. This beautiful humanitarian model at her age decided to gift back to many youths in Cameroon that are living at or below the poverty line.

One of Cameroon's beloved role model and
humanitarian Manka Nadine is revered for both her modeling skills and her philanthropy effects as a model/ humanitarian with a life devoted to kindness, and compassion . Manka Nadine devoted herself to being a model and humanitarian, something admirable and Inspirational. Her name might not strike the same spark of recognition as Angelina Jolie, malala yousifazi, Oprah Winfrey, Sean Penn and other famous humanitarians but she is undoubtedly worth of being one of history's top female role models in Cameroon and Africa as a whole.

Tell us about yourself and your path of or to becoming a humanitarian model?

My name is Manka Nadine. I am  humanitarian and a fashion model by passion besides been an Accountant by profession. Actually, I didn't set out to be a model. I happened to have been part of a beauty pageant and came out successful and from then people started referring to me as a model.

But humanitarian works has been a passion from childhood. In my childhood, I made a covenant with God that if he will continue to bless the works of my hand I too will never stop doing his work. So as long as God has kept his part of the covenant I have never failed on my part. At the age of 21, i was Miss west Africa cameroon 1st runner up 2011. Miss cameroon united nations 2014

Miss Cameroon runner up 2011

Miss Cameroon united Nation 2014

What are some of the social good brands you have Worked?

In 2011, I, CEO and co-founded redemption Education Initiative an NGO that caters for the needs of orphans and vulnerable kids in Cameroon.

My works pulled the attention of many and I was granted the Ten outstanding young persons award by junior chamber international Cameroon in partnership with the british High commission for my contribution to peace and human rights

lots of young girls send me a message on my page saying they want to model and asking me what they can do to be a model.

I always tell people that, everyone is a model. it begins from how you perceive yourself. Contrary to popular believe a model is not just the picture perfect slim girls you see gracing a runway, that's just another kind of modelling.

A model is anyone who takes it upon themselves to be an inspiration to others in any work of life. It begins from how you live your life and serve as an inspiration to first your younger ones at home, your neighbours in your community then the world at large. Be that light that others look up to and get inspired to work towards their dream. That is my idea of "model"

What kind of project do you do for redemption operates?

We identify kids who needs sponsorship, Visiting orphanages in the SW Region of Cameroon.  I had a tradition of celebrating my birthdays in the orphanage.  Same working with redemption education initiative, identifying beneficiaries in the suburbs.

Who inspires you?

I listen a lot to Sarah Jakes the daughter of Bishop TD Jakes.she has been such an inspiration to me but ultimately I get inspired from the word of God and I have made it a constant decision that my life, my experiences will not only serve as a lesson to myself but to all the young girls who look up to me . God does write straight on crocket lines and its important to know that the experiences we go through in life if grounded with the word are meant to teach us lessons to teach our younger generation if you perceive yourself as a model.

What make you stand out from the other Cameroonian youth?

My life style....., I am very simple and I love hanging aroung people who make me laugh. There is a huge contrast between Manka Nadine on social media and the real me. I am shy much more of an introvert as opposed to what people see on social media. I am goal oriented and once I set out for something, I stop at nothing until I get there. But most importantly I am human, I make mistakes, I break down and cry and l wake up again and focus. its just the ups and downs of growing up.

What's your zodiac sign?

my zodiac sign is scorpio

What are your achievements as a humanitarian model?

Every child deserves a birthday, which touts the idea that an orphanage child can enjoy his or her birthday like any normal child. End poverty in rural remote areas or villages in the Northwest and Southwest region of Cameroon by looking for sponsors who help with school items and reducing illiteracy. Making more less privilege kids in this areas living healthier and happier.

The vast majority of this kids living in the remote areas lack portable water. Sometimes they go for days without taking a bath. In most cases the streams and rivers are too far away from them. So my NGO and other partners decided to dig wells.

If you could have one superpower                                what would it be?

If i would have one super power, it would be the power to heal people when in pain. I know what it feels like to be hurt and if there's one power i would love to have if should be the power to take away that pain people feel when they are emotionally broken, disappointed or depressed.

What other achievements or awards have you receive since the previous one in Cameroon?

My works pulled the attention of the coady international institute in Antigonish canada where I got a scholarship to take community development leadership by women and I earned a certificate in that course.
