Kendall Jenner brings class to the kardashian clan classroom... Hmm!!!! To the future

Kendall Jenner's half-sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian have vowed to "feed on" the air of class she brings their family.

The 19-year-old appears on her family's reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but her main focus is on her modelling career. During this month's New York Fashion Week (Sep15) she walked for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg and she is also the face of beauty giant Estée Lauder, something her sisters are stunned by.

"Before I got the contract, I’d heard from a lot of people that a contract with a company like Estée Lauder was like a stamp of approval, a stamp of your legit-ness. So getting that was a really big step for me," she told WWD.

"The other day, Kourtney and Khloé were going to the airport, and they saw a huge billboard with my Estée ad. They took a picture of it and Instagrammed it. They say, ‘You’re the cool and classy one in the family - we’re going to feed on this and bring it in to our lives.’”

Kendall has grand ambitions when it comes to her career, not least because she wasn't sure she'd be accepted as a model when she started out. Now she's proved she has what it takes and has even made it onto the Forbes highest earning models list, she hopes people will take her seriously.

In the future she wants to be "one of the best", revealing her career inspiration comes from looking at the way Christy Turlington is still "killing it".

It's not only the model's time on the catwalk which has seen her thrust into the limelight. This year (15) her father announced he was transitioning and became known as Caitlyn Jenner, something which Kendall is still computing.

"It’s been a ride, for sure. It’s an adjustment. It’s something you have to get used to. But I’ve known since I was a kid. He never confirmed it to me, but I’ve known for a very long time," she said. "It’s the same person. My dad says it herself sometimes, it’s kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is. My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad - that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got.”
